The heart behind Little Legs Pet Nanny.
Ever since I can remember our home has always been a safe haven for a variety of animals (mostly rescue). Over the years, I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, mice, hens, ducks, chickens, horses, chinchillas, tortoises, birds, fish and axolotls, and we now share our home with Teddy our cheeky young rescue cavapoo, and Cayde our very inquisitive axolotl
It has always been a dream of mine to work with animals full-time, but the past 30 years took me down a different path to customer-facing roles, helping people instead. Three recent devastating personal tragedies have made me re-evaluate my life and make the exciting and scary decision to turn my dream into a reality by combining my natural customer service skills alongside my genuine love of all creatures great and small, to help both animals and their owners coordinate their busy lives.
Little Legs isn't a large company with a team of walkers and pet sitters. When you book with me, you deal directly with me from start to finish. I take pride in offering a local, personal, hands-on service where your pet is treated with the same care, attention and affection I would give my own.

I offer a one-to-one, personal service, so you will always deal directly with me. Your pet will never be passed on to anyone else unless agreed, and I take pride in being reliable, friendly and easy to communicate with.
As a local business, I focus on a small area so I can give each pet the time and attention they deserve. I genuinely love working with animals, and their safety, happiness and wellbeing are always my priority.
I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet in someone else's care. This is the main reason why I offer solo walks or a maximum of two dogs from the same household to ensure your dog(s) are always my main focus and there won't be multiple pick ups and drop offs during your booking slot so your pets won't miss out on precious outdoor fun time.
My aim is to provide a service that feels consistent, caring and dependable from start to finish.

Dog Walking
Friendly, reliable dog walking for smaller breeds, with a focus on one-to-one care, offering calm, structured and enriching sniffy walks and woodland adventures tailored to your dog’s needs(no pack walks). Whether it’s a 30 or 60-minute walk, your dog will always be walked safely and given the time, attention and exercise they need. Should you prefer your dog to have a tandem walk, I am more than happy to bring along my friendly little cavapoo as a walk buddy. Collection and drop off are included within a 2-mile radius, making it easy and convenient for you.
Pet Visits
Home visits to care for your pets while you're away or busy. 30-minute pop-ins can include feeding, replenishing water, refreshing cat litter trays or small animal cages, toileting let-outs, companionship & fuss for all so they feel comfortable in their own environment. Perfect for pets who don't require a walk but still need special care and attention. Suitable for all animals, young and old, and can also include basic household tasks if required.
Pet Sitting
Overnight stays within your own home to provide companionship and security for your pet, whilst maintaining your pet's routine and providing house-sitting duties if required, such as bringing in the post, watering plants and adjusting lights or curtains etc to keep your home feeling lived in.
